parabole skydsl (surbeam2 ? Je sais pas le nom)

Je suis un parfait newbie en éléctronique.
J'ai un l'idiotie de m'abonner à skydsl, maintenant je suis en froid avec eux, et réfléchis aux moyens de les attaquer en justice. Mais ce serait peut-être plus judicieux d'accepter leur offre de payer à moitier ce que je dois, et garder le matériel... cependant, je ne sais pas comment l'utilser.
Voilà, j'ai ce matériel:
There's a name on the back of the modem: surfbeam2. I suppose it's the name of the modem itself.
There are two coaxial entry in the "receiver" box facing the parabola. They seem to be the same, and only one is used to go to my tv for now.
I can't find other information...
No setting on my tv seem to be fine. I don't know either, to what source of signal the entry "ANT" for the antenna coming from the parabola fits.
There are possibly DTV, ATV, and AV. I know none of them.

Le satellite utilisé est le satellite KA-SAT à 9° Est.
As-tu déjà pointé une parabole satellite?

Je ne vois pas trop l'intérêt pour toi de garder ce matériel à moins que tu sois certain de pouvoir l'utiliser avec un autre opérateur internet par satellite (si tu n'as pas d'autre possibilité d'accès à internet).
Sinon, pourquoi passais-tu par le satellite pour ton accès à internet ? N'as-tu pas de possibilité satisfaisante via un opérateur ADSL classique ?

The antenna input of your TV corresponds to ATV (analog TV, not anymore used in Europe) and DTV (digital TV, what we call TNT in France). However this antenna input expects to be connected to a terrestrial antenna, it cannot work with a parabola.

Depending where you are located you could maybe use such a "caravan" antenna for the TV if you are not too far from a transmitter:

If it is for TV reception in France (TNT), your TV must be HDTV compliant (DVB-T / MPEG-4) otherwise it wont be able to receive anything without an external TNT HD adaptor.
