Bonjour,
en déplacement à Melbourne cette semaine, j'en ai profité pour regarder ce qu'on pouvait recevoir là bas.
j'avais amené mon matériel (2 clés USB et mon antenne double brins téléscopiques) pour utiliser DABplayer et QIRX, j'étais dans l'hotel Le Méridien au centre ville, 20 Bourke street.

on a donc 3 multiplex diffusés sur Melbourne:
le 9A, 9B et 9C.

selon fmlist, on aurait 5 émetteurs pour chacun des multiplex, dont un avec une puissance importante de 50 kW, les autres de moins d'1 Watt.

A noter que les Australiens ont un site de divulgation DAB+ assez complet, un peu comme en Suisse ou en Allemagne:

j'ai enregistré un fichier fic et je l'ai fait analyser par le service en ligne, a priori il n'y a rien de particuler en tant que suivi de service (pas de FIG 0/6, 0/21 ou 0/24).

les débits sont relativement faibles pour chacun des services, mais c'est compensé par l'utilisation de 4 taux de redondance EEP 2-A, EEP 3-A, EEP 3-B et EEP 4-A, utilisés en fonction de ce qu'on veut avoir comme qualité audio.
Ci-dessous les services sont classés par nombre de CU utilisés (donc en principe de la moins bonne qualité à la meilleure)
sachant qu'en France on a un débit de 88 Kbps et 66 CU par service. Là le maximum est de 48 CU pour le meilleurs service.

j'ai enregistré un fichier Raw d'une minute pour ceux qui veulent se rendre compte de ce que ça donne en 32 kbps, 24 ou 16 kbps (on peut le lire avec QIRX ou Qt-DAB)

les TII que je recevais, je n'ai pas réussi à déterminer quel émetteur avait le TII 32/1 et lequel le 32/12

j'ai enregistré un fichier fic et je l'ai fait analyser par le service en ligne, a priori il n'y a rien de particuler en tant que suivi de service (pas de FIG 0/6, 0/21 ou 0/24).

les débits sont relativement faibles pour chacun des services, mais c'est compensé par l'utilisation de 4 taux de redondance EEP 2-A, EEP 3-A, EEP 3-B et EEP 4-A, utilisé en fonction de ce qu'on veut avoir comme qualité audio.
Ci-dessous les services sont classés par nombre de CU utilisés (donc en principe de la moins bonne qualité à la meilleure)
sachant qu'en France on a un débit de 88 Kbps et 66 CU pour tous les services. Là le maximum est de 96 CU pour le meilleurs service et 16 pour le moins bon a priori.

j'ai enregistré un fichier Raw d'une minute pour ceux qui veulent se rendre compte de ce que ça donne en 32 kbps ou 40 kbps (on peut le lire avec QIRX ou Qt-DAB)

A noter que les multiplex 9A et 9B décrits ci-dessus sont très intéressants de par la diversité des débits utilisés pour chaque radio, le taux de redondance utilisé (correction d'erreur) et donc le nombre de CU par radio dans le multiplex.
On va de l'EEP-2A (très robuste, mais moins bonne qualité audio pour un débit donné et nombre de CU donné) à l'EEP-4A (susceptible d'être perturbé plus facilement si la réception est moins bonne, mais donne une meilleure qualité audio pour un nombre de CU donné), en passant par le 3A et le 3B.
A rapprocher des explications qui avaient été fournies à ce propos dans le fil La technique et la technologie de la RNT (DAB+).

j'ai mis des acquisitions des données du flux sur 1 minute (fichier raw, contenant l'audio et FIC), pour ceux qui veulent se rendre compte des différentes qualités audio de ce qui est diffusé aux différents débits et différents paramètres de correction d'erreur.
malgré les débits relativement faibles et le nombre énorme de radios pour ces 2 multiplex 9A et 9B (30 radios comparé aux 13 de la France), je ne trouve pas la qualité audio si ridicule.
A noter que là-bas la radio classique nationale ABC Classic a un débit très supérieur aux autres radios, 120 kb/s à rapprocher des 88 kb/s de la France, mais sur 90 CU au lieu des 66 CU en France (multiplex 9C).
ABC Jazz a les mêmes caractéristiques de qualité que ce qu'on trouve en France sur tous nos multiplex.

Enfin pour finir je ne les ai pas listées mais un certain nombre de radios à bas débit sont en mono, ce qui permet de multiplier artificiellement le débit par 2 pour une perception d'écoute équivalente sur un poste radio à 1 seul haut parleur !

Par contre aux Etats-Unis et au Canada, la norme de radio numérique est différente, puisque eux utilisent la HD radio en optimisant la bande FM, différente du DAB +
