Probleme avec la carte Fransat

Bonjour à tous
I am hoping that someone here understands English because I'm not good enough at French to express this problem! I was trying to crate a BIS Fransat subscription, so I brought up my card number on the decoder information screen and then typed it in when asked, but it said the card number was invalid. I took out the card and saw that there was an extra digit on it that the screen didn't display. I typed it in and then it worked. Do you think my card is slightly corrupt?

Your question is not very clear, BIS and Fransat are two different TV suppliers.
What card do you have? A BIS or Fransat card ? What decoder model have you ?

Fransat cards work only in their own proprietary decoders.

Oh sorry I have a Fransat card and a wisi or03s decoder, but I was on the BIS by Fransat website looking at the subscription details, and on my decoder info screen it had the card number (because I needed to enter it on the website) but it was missing one digit on the screen as when I typed it in it was invalid. I looked at the card and it had one extra number on, which when added validated the card on the website. Was the decoder missing a number normal or does this mean the card is slightly corrupt?

So if I understand you right you wanted to subscribe to the BIS bouquet as an option using your FRANSAT card (which is possible since a few months).
I don't think there is any problem with your card (otherwise it would not work), it's most probably a problem of the decoder software which does not display the last digit (which is probably only a parity check).

Or a problem with Fransat website, the card serial nr. is available under the card barcode or on your stb menu "right access".
If you have same number and if not work, it's probably a website problem, you can call Fransat support.

Unfortunately I don't have a Fransat card, but the serial format for all Viaccess card is: xxx xx xx xxx x , you should have 11 digits

Your card work correctly with Fransat channels ?

Yes I can recieve the channels fine and my digit number is xxx xx xx xxx x but the decoder doesn't display the last digit on the information screen, it has enough room to display it, it just doesn't for some reason. My card is scratched, do you think that is what has caused this? I am writing because I am pretty sure I saw the full number when I first got it, but the box broke, and the guy who came to install the new one shoved the old card in and there was a scraping sound
